Home Selling FAQ

When you call on HomeSmart to sell your home, we conduct a thorough evaluation based on your location, the home’s square footage and condition, and the selling price of recently sold similar homes in the area. We check various things in the house, such as when you’ve renovated any of the rooms, and we put together a real estate report based on the comparable nearby home values.

When you sell your home, you’ll fill out a seller’s disclosure to let us know things about your home, such as the age and condition of your HVAC system, roof and windows. Please ensure that it’s as accurate as possible. If something in your house could be close to breaking down, it will need to be serviced or replaced, with your bill showing that the work has been done.

If you have, say, an aging HVAC system that has been well-cared for and maintained, and you’re able to show that to be the case, you shouldn’t likely have to spend thousands to replace it. So it pays to take care of these things!

When you choose HomeSmart to sell your home, you’re placing it in the hands of Giulio Leone himself…someone with years of experience who is dedicated to getting you more than the asking price for your home.

We focus strongly on the most important thing to selling real estate: finding the right buyer, and making things as easy and inviting as possible for that buyer. From providing easy pre-approvals for prospects on the spot, to doing due diligence on all of your prospects, to open houses hosted by Giulio Leone himself featuring the aroma of baked cookies, we go above and beyond at every level to sell your home at the best possible price.
